We hosted a workshop at LUX led by costume designer Hayley Nebauer. The workshop facilitated artists who work with moving image to consider innovative ways to approach costume within their work.

The workshop included insights into Nebauer’s practice with a presentation of her portfolio and experience. Practical sessions included discussions and activities related to the process of  ‘Hybrid Design’ – the process of fusing different time periods, aesthetics or characters to create new styles of costume.

Artist bioCreating unique costumes ideal to the needs of each director and production, Hayley Nebauer has worked as a costume designer for film, television and theatre since 2000.
