Sophie Rogers
(2017)

Still from ‘HWEEOO; A Sweet New World’, 2017.

Sophie Rogers is a video based artist whose practice focuses on the act of storytelling. Through compositing and computer generated imagery, she creates curious landscapes that act as manufactured alternative spaces for fictions and fairy tales to take place.

Sophie is based in London and has had work exhibited at the Barbican Centre, Tate Modern, as part of Offprint London with Self Publish Be Happy TV, and most recently at Future Late, the opening of the Switch House (Tate Modern). She was selected by an open call to take part in the Zabludowicz Master Class in February 2017.

During her residency Sophie produced a new work called “HWEEOO; A Sweet New World”. You can read more about the work here, and view an extract on her website here.
