Sasraku is based in London, England and her practice shifts between filmmaking and flag-making. Installation shot at Berwick Film & Media Festival
During her residency Tanoa produced a new work called ‘O’Pierrot’, which premiered at Berwick Film & Media Festival 2019, and was exhibited in a solo show at LUX in March - April 2020, as well as a screening and talk with Rosalind Nashashibi for Art Licks Weekend. Tanoa was also invited to talk about this piece at events at the South London Gallery, the ICA and the BFI. You can read an interview with Tanoa about her work in Elephant.
